Our Brief History

Little Tokyo Brisbane was opened back in December 2011 by David Deck and his Japanese friend Yamato in the main commercial hub of Brisbane, Queensland. The concept of Little Tokyo was to promote Japanese cuisine while giving them the real, authentic and classic taste of Japanese delicacies. It is a place where the food can inspire you, and the ambience can make you feel energetic. With the aim of providing quality culinary experience, both the founders of Little Tokyo

introduced a feast of the food festival. It is a festival where people can have all different varieties of Japanese food under one roof. The team of chefs will demonstrate some of the signature dishes and let you taste them so that you can come over and over again. Since those early days, David and Yamato have continued to take the Little Tokyo to the new height of success, and now it has become one of the most recommended Japanese restaurants in Brisbane, Queensland.
